After being shut down 2 months for the Bay Area Shelter in Place, and our employees returned to work on May 4 not knowing what to expect. It has now been about two weeks since the business reopened and we are starting to become more comfortable with the new normal of facemasks, gloves, daily temperature checks, and 6 ft social distancing.
The health and safety of our employees and customers is a priority for our business. In compliance with county health directives, showroom visitors must wear masks, and we request that an advance appointment be made to avoid congestion and preserve social distancing.
We also take strong precautions when visiting customer homes for sales consultations, final measurements and door installations. Our install crews wear masks and maintain social distancing while installing doors, including avoiding contact where possible with home residents.
These past two weeks have been an adjustment to the new normal, but we are encouraged by the enthusiasm of our customers. Our sales teams are seeing strong demand for new doors, and our install crews are also seeing the familiar delight of homeowners when their new doors are professionally installed.
