Â Although standard swing doors provide better soundproofing, they can be unwieldy and awkward with the way they swing into the room. Â In many cases, the answer is a barn door, as is the case for this homeowner in Menlo Park. Â The barn door that we installed claimed almost no space, while providing separation from the adjoining room.
This situation was particularly the case for a barn door we installed this past week in a older home in an affluent neighborhood.  By using a barn door the homeowner was able to maximize usage of available space while adding a distinctive character to their home.  As you might imagine from viewing these photos our customer was very pleased with the results.
